How it works
Each desktop is an isolated VM with its own CPU, RAM, and disk. The agent connects via API, gets a live screen feed, and sends mouse and keyboard input in real time.
No setup required. Browsing, coding, filling forms, managing files. If you can do it on a computer, so can your agent.

What is a cloud desktop for AI agents?
A Linux VM in the cloud that your AI agent controls directly. It sees the screen, clicks, types, browses the web, writes code, manages files. The same things you do on your computer, except the agent does them.
How is this different from E2B or Scrapybara?
E2B gives agents throwaway sandboxes for running code. Scrapybara is browser automation. Le Bureau is a full persistent desktop: GUI, terminal, browser, file system. Your agent picks up where it left off.
How fast is provisioning?
Under 90 seconds. Most desktops boot in 45-60 seconds.
How is my data protected?
Every desktop is an isolated VM with dedicated resources. VMs are network-isolated from each other. You bring your own API keys (BYOK), so credentials stay under your control. All infrastructure runs in France (EU), GDPR-compliant.
Which AI models work with Le Bureau?
Any model that supports computer use: Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or anything via OpenRouter. You can also install any AI tool directly in the VM. It's a full Linux computer.
Can I use Le Bureau via API?
Yes. Everything in the dashboard is available via REST API. Create desktops, send commands, upload files, monitor agents. Generate an API key from your workspace settings.
What comes pre-installed?
Ubuntu 22.04, XFCE4 desktop, Chrome, VS Code, an AI agent framework, Python 3, Node.js, and standard dev tools. Need something else? Use apt or snap.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. During beta, every account gets one free desktop: 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 20 GB disk. No credit card.
